If you would rather never be part of a match on When We Match, you can add your own email to our do-not-match list. No account is needed.
You can only block your own email, because we send a confirmation link to it first. The block takes effect only after you open that link, so no one can add someone else.
Nothing about you is ever revealed in the process. We store the list as one-way hashes, so the entries cannot be read back, and if anyone ever names you, they are told nothing — they simply never get a match.
